The first bit is easy.. and usually starts with seeing yourself in your holiday snaps or thinking these jeans have (strangely) got a bit tight! We've all been there - bought an exercise video that sits on the shelf, joined a gym and only gone for a month, or even invested in an exercise bike that rapidly becomes an expensive clothes horse!
Everyone knows the benefits of being fit and healthy, but most of us also want everyday improvements. This means being able to chase your kids round the park, take the stairs without being out of puff or not wincing when you look in the changing room mirror! The difference between making a decision to improve your health and keeping it up, is just a small word – motivation (ok, four syllables, so not that small!).
At Inspire, we understand everyone has ‘issues’ with motivation sometimes, and luckily, we're motivated to help you overcome them! We realise that we all need a bit of inspiration sometimes, and that people don't want an exercise program that demands an unrealistic amount of time or energy. So guess what? That's just what we offer.. Teresa created for me a different way of life. At first gentle, the way that anyone looking similar to Mr Blobby should be handled. Tenderly pointing out the wide range of traps I was falling into everyday. Then over time, building a regime to really suit me as an individual. Always changing, improving, tailored to meet my specific goals and to fit in with my way of life.
Right from the very beginning, we focused on the fundamentally important areas rather than leaping straight into “Weight loss at all cost”, which I believe was my mantra. Core stability and strength, overall conditioning and flexibility. Through this approach I have lost weight, slowly and continually, 22lbs in 18 months. I am fitter, stronger healthier and motivated to really keep at it.
Now after approximately 18 months of working with Teresa, I can confidently say that she has made an enormous difference to the way I feel, the way I look and most importantly to my health.

Over a period of time I put on about 1.5
stone and wanted to find a way of losing it, which was a
slight problem
given that I had absolutely no inclination to do any exercise…. Until I
was introduced to Teresa….
Having not done any exercise since I was about 14, and even then only
under duress, Teresa somehow managed to find a way to motivate me, keep
me motivated and create a variety of different routines to suit what I
was capable of, which initially was very little. She also looked at
what I was eating and transformed that too.
The net result: one year later I have lost almost 3 stone and am still
maintaining the exercise regime up to 5 times a week… which isn’t bad
for someone who did not even previously own any trainers!! Teresa has
quite simply changed my way of life and with it my looks!!!
